Came across this company: Weekly Cinema that offers this monthly cinema subscription program that works out to be a very good deal especially since it includes 3D/IMAX up to $14 per ticket. It includes the Fandango service charge so as long as the total cost is $14 or under your out-of-pocket is zero.

These kind of programs are very popular in Europe. Looks like this company is trying out the business model in the US.

There is no contract and you cancel anytime. Also looks like there is a free trial period.
